The Centre for Economic Policy Research Annual Monetary Economics and Fluctuations Symposium 2024

 

 

The CEPR’s Annual Monetary Economics and Fluctuations Symposium 2024, in-person programme meeting will take place at the Study Center in Gerzensee, Switzerland on October 7th-9th 2024.

 

The conference is open to submissions by MEF members and non-members. Submissions in all areas of monetary economics and business cycle analysis are welcome.

The deadline for submitting papers is June 1, 2024. Preference will be given to completed papers. The selected contributors will be notified by June 15, 2024. Submitting authors will be expected to present their papers and participate on all days of the conference, if accepted.

Funding:

Meals and accommodation are provided to participants during the dates of the symposium thanks to the generosity of the Study Center Gerzensee. Please note that additional nights are at the participants' own expense. Subject to the availability of rooms, spouses/partners can be accommodated at a charge to cover costs. There is only limited accommodation available for children, and this will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Information about accommodation at the Study Center Gerzensee is available on the Center webpage.
 
There is limited travel funding available, but we encourage participants to use their own grants to cover travel costs if possible. Please indicate in your reply whether you will be able to cover your own travel costs, or whether you will require funding from CEPR. If you are allocated travel funding, this will be covered
according to the CEPR travel guidelines.

How to submit a paper:

 

Authors who already have a CEPR HUB profile can upload their submission by:

  1. Going to https://hub.cepr.org/  and logging in
  2. After you have logged in, go to https://hub.cepr.org/event/4059
  3. Click on "Step 1: Apply"
  4. Under "Apply to Attend" click "Yes"
  5. Tick the boxes that apply to you
  6. Tick "Would you like to submit a paper?", upload your paper and supply the requested information.
  7. Click "Submit form" to make the submission.

 

Authors who do not have a CEPR HUB profile can upload their submission by:

  1. Creating a new profile here https://hub.cepr.org/user/register
  2. After you have logged in, go to https://hub.cepr.org/event/4059
  3. Click on "Step 1: Apply"
  4. Under "Apply to Attend" click "Yes"
  5. Tick the boxes that apply to you
  6. Tick "Would you like to submit a paper?", upload your paper and supply the requested information.
  7. Click "Submit form" to make the submission.
