Carolin Haeussler

Carolin Haeussler is Assistant Professor of Management at the Institute for Innovation Research, Technology Management and Entrepreneurship of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). Carolin concluded her Ph.D. studies at the LMU in 2005 with a dissertation on inter-firm collaboration. Before starting her Ph.D., she studied Business Administration and Digital Technology at the LMU, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Center for Digital Technology and Management (Technical University of Munich and LMU).

In her research she focuses on innovation research. Her research projects are mainly in three areas: First, at the interface of innovation and entrepreneurship Carolin’s interest is in examining how technology intensive firms build organisations, financial structures and strategies to be innovative and commercially successful. Second, she is interested in the design and contractual structure of strategic alliances. Her third research area concerns and contrasts the information sharing behaviour of university-based and industry-based scientists.
