Philipp Kircher

Professor of Economics at the University of Edinburgh and at the London School of Economics

Philipp Kircher is a Professor of Economics at the University of Edinburgh and at the London School of Economics, where he studies allocations in markets where traders cannot costlessly interact with all other market traders, usually captured by search frictions. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Bonn in 2006 and held intermediate positions at the University of Pennsylvania and at Oxford University. Since 2011 he acts as one of the Managing Editors at the Review of Economic Studies. He is a member of CEPR and serves on the council of the European Economic Association.
