Michael D. Grubb is an Associate Professor of Economics at Boston College. Grubb is an expert in the field of behavioral industrial organisation whose recent research has focused on overconfidence, bill-shock regulation, and consumer inattention.His recent publications include, Consumer Inattention and Bill-Shock Regulation (Review of Economic Studies, 2015), Cellular Service Demand: Biased Beliefs, Learning, and Bill Shock (American Economic Review, 2015), and Overconfident Consumers in the Marketplace (Journal of Economic Perspectives, 2015). His additional research interests include applied microeconomic theory, industrial organisation, online advertising, and market design.
