Aidan Lawson

Former Associate, Financial Stability Institute, Bank for International Settlements

Aidan Lawson is a former Associate at the Financial Stability Institute (FSI) of the BIS. In his time with the FSI, he published research on issues ranging from digital payments, big tech firms in banking, bank licensing frameworks, and resolution policy regimes in emerging markets. Prior to his employment at the BIS, he was a Research Associate at the Yale Program on Financial Stability (YPFS), where he published case studies, research papers, and blog posts on how monetary and fiscal authorities fight financial crises as part of the Program’s New Bagehot Project. Aidan received his bachelor’s degree in Economics, Magna Cum Laude, from The George Washington University, where he focused his studies on international economics, macroeconomic policy issues, and bank regulation and supervision.
