Ann Capling is Professor of Political Science at the University of Melbourne, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Arts, and President of the Australian Political Studies Association. In 2007 she was a member of the Warwick Commission on the Future of the Multilateral Trade System. She has published widely in scholarly journals and her authored and co-authored books include Beyond the Protective State (1992), Australian Politics in the Global Era (1998), Australia and the Global Trade System: From Havana to Seattle (2001), and All the Way with the USA: Australia, the US and Free Trade (2005).
