Antonio Spilimbergo

IMF; CEPR Research Fellow

Antonio Spilimbergo studied economics at University Bocconi in Milan. He received his PhD in economics from MIT and worked at the Inter-American Development for few years. Since 1997 he has been working at the IMF where he has been Mission Chief for Italy, Russia, Turkey, and Slovenia. His areas of interest are: macroeconomics, international trade, development, and labour economics. He is a Research Fellow at the CEPR. His works have been published in the American Economic Review, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of International Economics, and American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics.
