Arcangelo Dimico is a Lecturer in Economics at the Queen’s University of Belfast. His research focuses on development economics, political economy, and the economics of conflict. Arcangelo has written on historical sources of divergences in income across countries, slavery, institutions and economic growth, and the evolution of conflicts. Nowadays he is primarily focusing on the disenfranchisement of blacks in the US, and origins of organised crime.
