Atanas Hristov is Economist at the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN) of the European Commission. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Humboldt University of Berlin. His main areas of work are macroeconomic modelling and the macroeconomics of fiscal, monetary and structural policies.
