Carlo Favero

Head of Finance Department and Deutsche Bank Chair in Asset Pricing and Quantitative Finance, Bocconi University; CEPR Research Fellow

Carlo A. Favero holds a D.Phil. from Oxford University. He is currently Head of Finance Department at Bocconi University where he holds the Deutsche Bank Chair in Asset Pricing and Quantitative Finance. He has published in scholarly journals on applied econometrics, monetary and fiscal policy and time-series models for macroeconomics and finance. He is a Research Fellow of CEPR in the International Macroeconomics and Finance programme. He has been Adviser to the Italian Ministry of Treasury for the construction of an econometric model of the Italian economy. He has been consulting the European Commission, the World Bank and the European Central Bank, on the monetary and fiscal policy transmission mechanism.
