Céline Carrère

Professor of International Economics, University of Geneva

Céline Carrère is Professor of Economics at the University of Geneva since 2011 and a CEPR affiliate since 2005. She is also affiliated to Research in International Economics and Finance (RIEF) network and the Foundation for International Development Study and Research (FERDI). Before joining the University of Geneva she was Research Fellow at CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) in France from 2007 to 2011 and Assistant Professor of Economics at HEC Lausanne, Switzerland (2005-2007). She holds a PhD in economics at the CERDI - France (2005). She is currently doing research on developing countries’ exports, trade policy and trade agreements, preferential market access, impact of infrastructure and transport costs on trade, trade and unemployment.
