Céline Carrère

Associate Professor, University of Geneva

Céline Carrère joined the University of Geneva in 2011 as Associate Professor. She is also affiliated to the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London (CEPR) and to the Foundation for International Development Study and Research (FERDI) in France. Before joining the University of Geneva she was Research Fellow at CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) in France from 2007 to 2011. She has also been an Assistant Professor of Economics at HEC Lausanne, Switzerland (2005-2007) and a Consultant for the World Bank. She holds a PhD in economics at the CERDI - France (2005). She is currently doing research on developing countries’ exports, trade policy and trade agreements, preferential market access, impact of infrastructure and transport costs on trade.
