David Bjerk

Assistant Professor of Economics, Claremont McKenna College and Adjunct Economist, RAND Corporation

David Bjerk is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Claremont McKenna College and an Adjunct Economist at the RAND Corporation. His research primarily focuses on crime and the criminal justice system, as well as issues of race and gender in the labour market. Prior to arriving at Claremont McKenna he was an Assistant Professor of Economics at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario and an NICHD Research Fellow in Population Studies at the RAND Corporation. He recieved his B.A. from Carleton College and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison .
