David Cuberes

Associate Professor of Economics, Clark University

David Cuberes is an Associate Professor of Economics at Clark University. Previously he was a Lecturer at the University of Sheffield, an Assistant Professor at the University of Alicante (Spain), and an Assistant Professor at Clemson University (South Carolina). He also visited the University of Warwick and the Royal Holloway (University of London) and is a consultant for the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. His work focuses on urban economics and economic growth and development. He has published in the Economic Journal, Journal of Urban Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Journal of Human Capital, the B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics, and Telecommunications Policy among other journals. He has also written the book El Auge y Declive de las Ciudades. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
