Diego Daruich

PhD candidate in Economics, New York University

Diego Daruich is an Economics PhD student at New York University (expected 2018).  He holds a BA in economics from Universidad Torcuato di Tella (UTDT, 2010) and a Master in Economics from Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros (CEMFI, 2012). His research interests combine the broad topics of Macroeconomics, Development Economics and Econometrics. His current focus is on the sources of Income Inequality and Intergenerational Mobility, with a special interest on the role of family choices in determining children’s outcomes. Diego is also interested in understanding the relationship between Economic Development and International Trade, as a way to promote general welfare.
