Delfin S Go is a development economist with over 25 years of broad-based work experience tackling policy issues inboth low-income and higher-income countries. He is a consultant and former Lead Economist at the World Bank. His research coversissues aboutgrowth, trade, aid effectiveness, public finance and expenditure analysis, poverty of developing countries, the demographic dividend, migration, pandemics and antimicrobial resistance, and policy analysis using computable general equilibrium modelling. He was lead author of the World Bank 2010 and 2011 Global Monitoring Reports about the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) after the recent crisis and how to improve their attainment. He co-edited the book, Africa at a Turning Point? Growth, Aid and External Shocks. He has aPh.D. in Political Economy and Government from Harvard University.
