Don Kenkel

Don Kenkel is the Joan K. and Irwin M. Jacobs Professor in the Department of Policy Analysis and Management at Cornell University and an NBER Research Associate. Most of his research is on the economics of disease prevention and health promotion. He has conducted a series of studies on the roles taxes and advertising play in consumer decisions to smoke. He also has a long-standing research and teaching interest in benefit-cost analysis and is currently serving as the President of the Society for Benefit-Cost Analysis.
