Daniel Prinz

Daniel Prinz is a PhD student at Harvard University and a pre-doctoral fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). He is interested in the economics of social insurance programs. His research has documented the screening behavior of insurance companies in the health insurance exchanges created by the Affordable Care Act and the consequences of Medicaid privatization in Texas and New York. His ongoing work develops new evidence on the employment sources of disability insurance claims, the consequences of plan design in Medicare Part D, and the role of liquidity constraints in prescription drug consumption.
