Dong Cheng

Assistant Professor of Economics, Union College

Dong Cheng is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Union College. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an M.A. and B.A. in Economics from Renmin University of China. His research focuses on endogenous distribution frictions and monetary policies, housing and macroeconomy, durable diffusion and production specialization during the Great Depression, financial frictions, productivity analysis, and firm trade dynamics and has been published in journals such as Applied Economics Letters, Empirical EconomicsInternational Review of Economics and Finance, Letters in Spatial and Resource Sciences, Research in International Business and Finance, and The World Economy.
