Eduardo Olaberría

Economist, OECD Economics Department

Eduardo Olaberría is an Economist at the OECD Economics Department. Before joining the OECD in 2012, he was the Head of the International Economic Analysis Unit of the Central Bank of Chile. He has also been Consultant for the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. His fields of specialisation are international macroeconomics and finance, trade, fiscal policy and economic growth. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from the University of Maryland at College Park, an M.A. in economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and completed his undergraduate economic studies at Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina.
