Elisabeth Kempf

Elisabeth Kempf is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. Her primary research interest is in empirical corporate finance. Her research has explored the behavior and incentives of financial analysts and economists as well as issues related to corporate governance. Her work has been published in the Review of Financial Studies and in the Journal of Financial Economics. She holds a Ph.D. in finance from Tilburg University (Netherlands). Prior to her Ph.D. studies, she worked as an analyst at Deutsche Bank.
