Emanuele Brancati

Emanuele Brancati is an Adjunct Professor at LUISS Guido Carli and John Cabot University. He holds a bachelor and master degree in Economic Policy from La Sapienza University of Rome, and a Ph.D. in Money and Finance from Tor Vergata University of Rome with a long visiting period at Boston College. His main area of research is empirical financial economics, studied both at the firm and bank level. His research appears in leading Finance and Economics journals, such as Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial Intermediation, and Journal of Economic Geography. His professional experiences include participation and coordination of international research projects, an internship at the European Commission, as well as consulting for regional and national institutions. His research has been presented at leading academic conferences, such as the Western Finance Association, the NBER Summer Institute, and CESifo/Ifo conference, as well as non-academic institutions, such as the Bank of Italy.
