Emily Blanchard

Associate Professor at the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College

Emily J. Blanchard is an associate professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where she specializes in the economics and politics of globalization. Professor Blanchard's research centres on two key questions: how are trade institutions and agreements evolving in response to global supply chains and foreign investment, and how does education affect the distribution of gains from globalization? Blanchard’s work is published in leading academic journals, and she has been called on to provide research and analysis for the World Trade Organization, the World Bank, and other government and think tank venues. Prior to joining the Tuck faculty, Blanchard was an assistant professor of economics at the University of Virginia. She graduated with honours from Wellesley College and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
