Henrik Enderlein

Professor of Political Economy, Hertie School of Governance; Director, Jacques Delors Institut - Berlin

Henrik Enderlein is Professor of Political Economy at the Hertie School of Governance and Director of the Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin. He has also taught at Harvard University (Pierre Keller Visiting Professor of Public Policy at Kennedy School of Government and the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, 2012-13) and Duke University (Fulbright Distinguished Chair, 2006-2007). From 2013-2017 he was a founding member of the independent advisory board to the German Fiscal Council. Prior to his academic career, he was an economist at the European Central Bank. His research focuses on economic policy-making, European integration, fiscal federalism and financial crises.
