Eva (Yiwen) Zhang

Research Analyst, Peterson Institute for International Economics

Eva (Yiwen) Zhang has been a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics since June 2018. She works with Reginald Jones Senior Fellow Chad P. Bown on international trade policy and trade negotiations. Prior to that, Zhang worked at the Brookings Institution and conducted research on international finance and central banking, as well as topics concerning the Chinese economy, such as WTO disputes, monetary policy, and political appointees. She has also worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies on projects focused on US economic strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.

Zhang received a master's degree in public policy from Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy in 2018 and a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a minor in international affairs in 2016.
