Federico Etro

Professor, University of Florence; Senior Consultant, Charles River Associates

Federico Etro is Professor at the University of Florence, where he teaches macroeconomics. He previously taught at the University of Venice, the University of Milan, the Luiss University of Rome and the University of Edinburgh. Etro has published numerous articles in journals such as the American Economic Review, International Economic Review, Economic Journal, American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, Journal of Macroeconomics, Rand Journal of Economics, Journal of Economic History, Physica A and others. He has written three books (Competition, Innovation, and Antitrust, 2007, Springer; Endogenous Market Structures and the Macroeconomy, 2009, Springer; and Competition Law and the Enforcement of Art. 102, 2011, with I. Kokkoris, Oxford University Press) and has been the Editor in Chief of Elsevier’s journal Research in Economics between 2014 and 2017. Since 2015, he has been Senior Consultant at CRA., London, with experience in antritrust matters regarding IT and the Internet.
