Filipe Campante

Filipe R Campante is Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School. He is interested in political economy, economic development, and macroeconomics, with special emphasis on issues of inequality, redistribution, and political stability. His research has focused on how these issues relate to topics such as campaign contributions, lobbying, corruption, revolutions, and education. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he holds a PhD from Harvard University, an MA from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, and a BA from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, all in economics.
