Friederike Niepmann

Friederike Niepmann is a Principal Economist in the International Finance Division of the Federal Reserve Board. Her main research interests are in international economics, with an emphasis on international banking and the role of financial intermediaries for international economic activity. Friederike has published papers in the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, the Journal of International Economics and the IMF Economic Review. She received her PhD from the European University Institute in Florence in June 2012and is currently affiliated with CEPR and CESifo, Munich.
