Hiroyuki Nakata

Hiroyuki Nakata is an Associate Professor in Finance at University of Leicester and a Senior Fellow at Japan’s Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI). He holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University, and previously held positions at Universities of Essex and Tokyo and has work experience in the banking industry in Japan. His main research fields are microeconomic theory and financial economics with a focus on heterogeneous beliefs including communication and on rare disasters.
