Ina Ganguli

Assistant Professor of Economics, University of Massachusetts Amherst; core faculty member, Computational Social Science Institute

Ina Ganguli is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a core faculty member of the Computational Social Science Institute. Her primary research areas are labour economics and the economics of science and innovation. She is also a Research Fellow at the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) at the Stockholm School of Economics, and a Fellow at the Center for International Development and the Institute for Quantitative Social Sciences at Harvard University. Ina holds a PhD in Public Policy from Harvard University, a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University.

Previously, Ina was an Assistant Professor at SITE at the Stockholm School of Economics, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Business School-Harvard Medical School Innovation Lab. She has been a U.S. Embassy Policy Specialist Fellow in Russia, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, a Fulbright Scholar in Ukraine, and a Bundestag International Parliamentary Program Fellow in Germany.
