Ingo Borchert

Ingo Borchert is a Lecturer at the University of Sussex, UK. Previously he has been an Economist at the World Bank, where he helped construct the global Services Policy Restrictions Database. His research interests focus on international trade and development, in particular the international integration of services markets. He is working on trade costs in services using the structural gravity model, and has studied the impact of trade policy on services trade and investment flows. He holds a PhD in Economics and Finance from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland, where he has also taught development economics.
