Jacob Weisdorf is a Professor of Economics at the University of Southern Denmark and a Research Fellow at the CEPR in London. His research interests concern the wider forces that led to the wealth of nations. His studies consider England (the cradle of the industrial revolution), Italy (an industrial runner-up), and sub-Saharan Africa (a still-to-come region).
