Jason Lennard

Post-doctoral Researcher, Department of Economic History, LSE

Jason Lennard is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the London School of Economics and a Research Associate at the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence. His research focuses on economic policy, financial crises and national accounting in a historical perspective. His work has been published in the Economic History Review, European Review of Economic History, Explorations in Economic History and Journal of Economic Literature. He has a PhD in Economic History from Lund University, which investigated the sources of economic fluctuations in the United Kingdom between 1750 and 1938. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in econometrics, economic history and financial history. Prior to joining the London School of Economics, he was a Senior Economist at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research.
