Jeremy Goldhaber-Fiebert

Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stanford University

Dr. Jeremy D Goldhaber-Fiebert is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stanford University, where he is also an Assistant Professor (by courtesy) of Health Research and Policy. He is a Core Faculty Member at the Centers for Health Policy/Primary Care and Outcomes Research, a Faculty Affiliate of both the Stanford Center on Longevity, the Clayman Institute for Gender Research, and a Faculty Fellow of the Stanford Center for International Development. His research focuses on complex policy decisions in health and medicine: how to improve population health given the reality of budgetary and other resource constraints.

He is keenly interested in applying a model-based, decision-analytic framework in both developed and developing countries. Because of his focus on chronic diseases, an important, related area of his work is studying how and why individuals participate in and adhere to interventions that provide them with health benefits, employing both decision theoretic and behavioral economic approaches.
