Jérôme Adda

Jérôme Adda is a Full Professor in the department of Economics at Bocconi University. His research interests focus mainly on health, labor and family economics. His work on epidemics has investigated previous episodes including flu or gastro-enteritis epidemics or the "Mad Cow" one, focusing on how economic activity and infrastructure affect their spread, how individuals react to risk and the efficacy of social distancing policies.  Many of his papers have been published in journals such as the JPE, AER, QJE and PNAS, as well as journals in other disciplines.
