Jesús Fernández-Huertas Moraga

Jesús Fernández-Huertas Moraga joined FEDEA in Madrid in December 2010 as a Ramón y Cajal Researcher. Previously, he worked at the Institute for Economic Analysis (CSIC) in Barcelona for three years and remains its Junior Research Affiliate today. He is also an IZA Research Fellow. He received his B.A. in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and his Ph. D. in Economics from Columbia University. His main research interest is international migration and his current work concentrates on the theoretical and empirical study of the determinants of international migration, the theory of international cooperation in migration policies and the causes and consequences of the Spanish immigration boom.
