John Hooley
Senior Economist, International Monetary Fund
John Hooley is a Senior Economist in the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF. He has worked on a variety of countries including the UK, Argentina, Turkey, Honduras, Belize, Ghana and Mali. His current research interests include expenditure and tax policy, fiscal dominance and sovereign debt management. Between 2008 and 2014 he was an Economist at the Bank of England and published research on global capital flows and financial stability. He holds postgraduate degrees in Economics from the London School of Economics and Cambridge University.
