Jason Ward is a PhD Candidate in economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His research uses the tools of applied microeconomics to evaluate labor, health, and education policy. Other recent work includes estimating the effect of the adoption of a four-day school week on parental employment, and an evaluation of the results of performance-based funding policies for state university systems on student outcomes and the composition of admitted students.
