Keiko Ito

Professor in the School of Economics, Senshu University; Project Member, RIETI

Keiko Ito is a Professor at the School of Economics, Senshu University and a Project Member at RIETI. Prior to her current position, she was an Associate Professor (2006-2012) and Lecturer (2004-2006) at the School of Economics, Senshu University; Visiting Fellow at the Center on Japanese Economy and Business, Columbia University (2007-2008); and Research Assistant Professor at the International Centre for the Study of East Asian Development, currently called the Asian Growth Research Institute (2002-2004).

She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Hitotsubashi University in 2002. Her research interests are on the empirical analysis on international trade and foreign direct investment, and industry and firm-level productivity analysis.
