Kevin Daly

Managing Director and Senior Economist within Goldman Sachs’ Global Macro Research department.

Kevin is co-head of CEEMEA Economics within Goldman Sachs’ Global Macro Research department. Prior to assuming this role in 2016, he was a senior economist in the European Economics team focusing on the Euro area and UK economies. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2001 and was named managing director in 2010.

Kevin has been awarded the Society of Business Economists’ (SBE) Rybczynski Prize twice, in 2004 for his paper “Has Euroland Performed That Badly?” and in 2007 for his paper “Gender Inequality, Growth and Global Ageing.” He is a member of the advisory panel to the UK’s Office for Budget Responsibility and of a steering group of independent experts advising the UK Statistics Authority.

Kevin earned a BA in Economics from Cambridge University, an MSc in Economics from University College London and a PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
