Kostadis Papaioannou

Kostadis J. Papaioannou is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of International Development at London School of Economics & Political Science, working on the research project ‘Spatial Inequalities in African Political Economy’. He obtained his PhD in Economic History from Wageningen University in 2017. His research interests revolve around the relationship between climate shocks, food production systems and social conflict  in tropical Africa and Asia during the colonial era.
