Maarten de Ridder

PhD candidate in Economics, University of Cambridge

Maarten de Ridder is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Cambridge. His work focusses on the long-term effect of economic shocks, and the role for institutions and policy to facilitate economic recovery. Before coming to Cambridge, Maarten pursued his undergraduate degree at Tilburg University in his native country, the Netherlands. He has previously worked for the House for Democracy and the Rule of Law and was a visiting researcher at the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis.
