Marco Sanfilippo

Associate Professor of Economics University of Bari

Marco Sanfilippo holds a Phd in Development Economics at the University of Florence, and he is currently an Associate Professor of Political Economy at the University of Bari, an Associate Fellow and Visiting Professor in Globalisation and Development at the Institute of Development Policy and Management, University of Antwerp, and an Associate Fellow at the Italian Institute of International Affairs (IAI).

Previously, he worked at the European University Institute, Bank of Finland, Fondazione RES, University of Eastern Piedmont, UNIDO, Fondazione ENI Enrico Mattei. He regularly consults with national and international organisations, including so far UNICEF, UNIDO, UNU-Wider, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the IMF.

His main research interests are in the fields of development economics, international business/economics.
