Marie-Anne Valfort is Associate Professor of Economics at Paris School of Economics – Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University. Her research focuses on the integration of Muslim immigrants into Western societies, on the impact of weather-induced internal migrations on labour market outcomes in agriculturally dependent countries, on the relationship between social capital and voting behaviors and on the determinants of educational quality in developing countries. She received her PhD in Economics from Ecole Polytechnique in 2007.
