Mark Colas

Assistant Professor of Economics, University of Oregon

 

Mark Colas is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Oregon. His main research fields are labor economics, public economics, and urban economics. His recent research focuses on the effects of immigration, optimal design of education policy, and the relationship between public policy and the distribution of households across cities. Prior to joining Oregon, Mark was a Visiting Scholar at the Minneapolis Fed. He received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin in 2017.
