Markus K Brunnermeier

Edwards S. Sanford Professor at Princeton University

Markus K. Brunnermeier is the Edwards S. Sanford Professor at Princeton University, a faculty member of the Department of Economics and director of Princeton's Bendheim Center for Finance. He is a member of several advisory groups, including to the US Congressional Budget Office, the Bundesbank, the Bank for International Settlement, and previously to the IMF, the European Systemic Risk Board, and the Federal Reserve of New York. He is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a research fellow of the CEPR, of CESifo, of ABFER, a fellow of the Econometric Society, a member of the Bellagio Group on the International Economy and vice-president of the American Finance Association. His research focuses on financial economics, macroeconomics and monetary economics. His recent book is titled “The Resilient Society”.
