Martin Götz

Associate Professor of Finance, Goethe University Frankfurt

Martin Goetz is an Associate Professor of Finance at Goethe University, Frankfurt and is affiliated with the Research Center "SAFE" (Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe). Before joining Goethe University in 2013, Martin was a Financial Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston from 2010 to 2013. In addition to research he took part in supervising U.S. banks' implementation of quantitative risk models. His research focus lies on financial intermediation, the finance-and-growth nexus and banking. Martin's research has been published in leading journals, such as the Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Financial Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from Brown University.
