Matthew Bloomfield is a 4th year PhD student in accounting at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. His research areas include executive compensation, earnings management and capital market regulation. In particular, Matthew is interested in accounting policy (earnings management, disclosure, compensation, etc…) for firms in oligopolistic industries. He earned his bachelors’ degrees in music and statistics from the University of Michigan.
