Michael Kuhn is Co-leader of the Research Group on Population Economics at Wittgenstein Centre (IIAS,VID/OEAW,WU) and Vienna Institute of Demography. His research interests lie at the intersection of health economics and population economics, spanning themes such as the organisation of health care, life-cycle behavior with endogenous health, and the impact of health and health care on economic growth and development. He has obtained a doctorate in economics from the University of Rostock, Germany, in 2001 and has held previous positions at the Centre of Health Economics, University of York, UK and at the Max-Planck-Institute for Demographic Research / University of Rostock, Germany.
