Michael Kvasnicka is Professor in Economics at Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. He was educated at the University of Oxford, at University College London and at Humboldt University of Berlin, where he received his Ph.D. in November 2004. His main research interests are in applied economics, in particular labour, family, and population economics.
